Smokey Gets $351.55 in HPAN Assistance

Almost Home Animal Rescue received a call from a Tennessee shelter about Smokey. He was brought in by a man who said Smokey had taken residence on his front porch and was scared to death. He was skinny, hungry, and he had sores all over his ears. He looks to be a purebred dapple Dachshund and was probably the result of  bad breeding. Smokey exhibited kennel aggression at the shelter, but he’s doing very well now that he’s out. We were able to cover his neuter, vaccines, and medication. Smokey is with a foster and is available for adoption. He is listed on Petfinder!
