Waylon was pulled from a shelter by Fighting for the Bullys Pit Bull Rescue. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with heartworms. The rescue reached out to us for assistance, and we were glad to sponsor him!
Almost Home Animal Rescue asked us to help with these 10 animals. All had been either abandoned or surrendered by their owners and needed vet care. We helped them pay for basic vetting for all 10 for $939. Flossy, Petey, Waylon, Lou, Elvis, Bomean, Loki, Buddy, and Cooper will live better lives because of their rescue.
Buck, Owen, Waylon, and Winnie were dumped on someone’s porch. That someone happened to be a foster home for A Chance for Champ Rescue. All the puppies had parvo, so time was of the essence. The puppies were immediately taken to the vet and given supportive care. When they were well enough, we sponsored their basic vetting, consisting of vaccines, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter of three of them. One of the males will be neutered when he’s a little bit bigger. All puppies are doing well!
We recently paid $50 to Planned Pethood for initial vaccines for shelter pups, Bernie, Sampson, Willie, and Waylon, for Roane County Paws. Aren’t they cuties?
