Eddie’s Heart Healing with Our Help of $350

This handsome lad landed at the Anderson County Animal Shelter. A foster stepped up for Eddie and took him to the vet where he tested positive for heartworms. The awesome new director of the shelter reached out to us for help. We gladly sponsored the injections needed to rid Eddie’s heart of these horrible parasites, although an easy dose of monthly prevention from his previous owners would have kept his heart clear of the worms. Eddie is doing well in foster care and will continue his post-treatment rest and recovery before he is officially up for adoption.
