HPAN Assists RCAS Dogs Hop on GoNorth

This success story is two-fold. First, GoNorth, a transport collaborative in east Tennessee, saves thousands of shelter animals per year by transporting them to northern shelters where there isn’t an animal population problem and adoption rates are higher. HPAN sponsored their transport van insurance for 2016 to keep them rolling. Most recently, these four (RCAS) dogs were transported to safety via GoNorth. To make the ride, they must be vaccinated, heartworm tested, and temperament tested. HPAN paid $180 to Planned Pethood for these services and off they went!
