HPAN Buys 20+ Feline Combo Tests for the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter

It is a well-known fact that animals who test free of disease are more easily adopted, like the one pictured here from the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. He, like so many others, are promoted by shelter volunteers at Pet Supplies Plus every Friday and Saturday after they’ve been combo tested, which rules out several feline diseases. The combo tests are expensive, at $20 each, and not covered in the shelter’s budget. When the Friends of the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter asked us if we could help purchase a box of combo tests for the shelter kitties, we said we’d buy a whole box, so that’s what we did!
