Friends of Campbell County Animals

HPAN recently sent $200 to the Friends of Campbell County Animals (FCCA) for their efforts in saving animals from the Campbell County Shelter.  The shelter rescued and homed over 30 animals in February, which reduced the shelter’s euthanasia rate from 96% to 20% for the month!  The FCCA needs money for all the cost associated with pull fees, spaying/neutering, vaccines, etc.  They were very grateful!

Friends of Campbell County Animals would like to thank you for your donation! FCCA is a group of volunteers and it is based solely on donations, so every dollar goes directly toward helping an animal in need. Also, the shelter itself did not contact the rescues, that was all FCCA’s rescue team which is an entirely different entity from the Campbell County Animal Shelter. Also, we do not know what the current euthanasia rate is, but we hope to get it down to around 20%. It was between 86-96% when we began trying to save the shelter animals. Thank you again for helping to make a difference in the lives of our animals!
